For over forty years Foster/White Gallery has been pleased to present the work of Master Artist, Tony Angell. In his latest body of work, Tony Angell explores his life-long relationship with owls. Angell observed, documented and created work over the course of many decades and most intimately with a family of Western Screech Owls in his backyard. According to Angell:

"This collection is really assembled over much of my lifetime. When a child of seven, I first saw an owl and became its company for a period of time. The mysteries that it conjured up remained with me into my adulthood. For more than half a century, I have come into the presence of these birds to learn and be inspired. Here then is a collection of drawings and sculpture that is a summary of that time which, even as I write this, continues."

Please join us for the opening reception of The House of Owls exhibit on First Thursday, April 2, 6-8pm as stone carvings, bronze sculptures, and clayboard illustrations alight in the gallery. Tony Angell will be in attendance to sign copies of his new book and discuss his treasury of owls.

Tony will be giving two tours of his exhibition of owls April 4th & April 18th, 2-4pm. Please join us for these inspiring afternoons.
