Sacred Realms: Temple Murals by Shashi Dhoj Tulachan From the Gayle and Edward P. Roski Collection
Thangka painting is carried out by highly trained monks for the purpose of teaching about Buddha and tenets of the Buddhist religion. The amount of imagery in each painting includes deities, mythologies, and the use of repeated and abstracted design.

This innovative, nationally traveling exhibit brings the game of chess to life and provides an engaging introduction to individual chess pieces and game strategy.
The museum promotes human understanding through permanent collections and special exhibitions from the greatest museums in the world. Its own collections include Southern California historic artifacts, California Plein-Air paintings and African, Oceanic, Native American, pre-Columbian and Chinese art.
3rd Tuesday of the month free for Santa Ana residents.
