Description:

Prints, Drawings, Paintings and Sculpture: Focus on California Modernism, 1930s-2000s, Latin American images, political commentary, Women Artists, and more.

Tobey C. Moss Gallery began in 1978 with a listing of 'Selected Prints'. Today, we still offer a fine collection of prints and drawing - 15th through 20th centuries. The direction of the gallery has broadened to include art in all media, especially works originating in southern California between the 1920s and the 1960s: post-surrealism, abstract classicism, minimalism, hard-edge, and assemblage. Also included are works from the Federal Arts Project and printmakers launched in lithography with Lynton Kistler during the '30s-'50s as well as the Tamarind Lithography Workshop in the 1960s and beyond. Memberships: ADAC (Art Dealers Association of California);  IFPDA (International Fine Print Dealers Association); CINOA (International Confederation of Art and Antique Dealers Associations), and ArtTable.

Representing the estates of Jules Engel, Leonard Edmondson, Werner Drewes and others.
